ABOUT US: STAFF PROFILE

The staff complement of UWP Consulting has grown steadily since the firm was established in 1972 and together with the external offices now numbers more than 280. UWP Consulting has always had a policy of recruiting the best people available and of providing study bursaries and financial assistance for postgraduate training on an ongoing basis. This policy has paid dividends as UWP Consulting is widely recognised as being at the forefront of the technical spheres within which it operates. This enables UWP Consulting to provide a top quality service to our clients. Through a well-managed process of regular staff assessments, combined with the feedback we obtain from project performance assessments sent to our clients, we strive to ensure that this high level of service is maintained.

UWP has implemented a 5-pronged staff development strategy comprising formal education support through bursaries, staff appraisals, idendification of training needs, continues professional development (CPD) and mentoring.

UWP Consulting's formal mentoring programme has been in operation since 2008 and the company supports an average of not less than 20 students at universities and technikons throughout South Africa  in any given year.

UWP Consulting is proud of its staff complement which consists of a wide range of people from different backgrounds and with different skills who have been forged into an efficient team. The current breakdown of the company’s 230 strong South African staff complement is as follows:-
